Seniority List - Rural and Suburban Mail Carriers

RSMC Fall Report

It was a long time implementing but we now have two On Call Relief Employees (OCRE's) in Regina. A big welcome to Dennis and Jeremy!!

Monday, October 29th we voted locally to accept the program of demands for this round of negotiations. This is the second re-opener of the rural collective agreement.

All in attendance voted in favor of the demands and nationally the vote was an overwhelming 94.9% in favor. Negotiations start November 1, and watch the bulletin boards for upcoming progress at the table.

As winter approaches remember your Safety is first. Report any incidents or injuries immediately, this includes near misses. Hazard reports are available and need to be completed and handed into your supervisor.

Under the Canada Labour Code RSMCs have the Right to Refuse unsafe work.

In Solidarity,

Cheryl Shannon
